Product Management @ YouTube Shopping
For this team-based project, we worked with a PM at YouTube Shopping to improve user engagement and increase purchases. Focusing on accessibility, integration, and user experience, our final prototype introduced timestamps, personalized recommendations, and seamless in-app purchasing. Through iterative testing, we achieved an 83% decrease in time to find shopping features and a 66% improvement in ease of use ratings.

Decision Analysis @ Neros Tech
With a team made up of Stanford MBA, PhD, and MS students, we conducted a strategic decision analysis for Neros Tech, a seed-stage startup specializing in military drones. Our analysis focused on whether Neros should prioritize FPV drone production to target near-term DoD contracts or allocate resources toward developing new drones to position for an lucrative program of record in 2027. Using decision trees, sensitivity analyses, and the value of evidence, we recommended a primary focus on FPV drones with periodic reassessment of FW-LM viability.

Deep Q-Learning for Arbitrage in Forex Trading
For this project, we developed a Deep Q-Network (DQN) agent to detect and exploit short-lived currency arbitrage opportunities in the foreign exchange (Forex) market. Using a multi-year dataset of exchange-rate time series, I built a custom RL environment defining states (bid/ask prices and technical indicators), discrete trading actions, and a reward structure tied to realized arbitrage profit. The model incorporated experience replay, target-network stabilization, and a neural architecture optimized for high-dimensional price data.
Across multiple training runs, the agent demonstrated improved policy performance and rising cumulative rewards, though with high variance due to market stochasticity and exploration dynamics. The work highlights both the promise and limitations of RL in high-frequency, microstructure-sensitive financial environments, particularly around latency assumptions, transaction-cost sensitivity, and data regime shifts.

Data Analytics, 10x Genomics
I partnered with directors of product and marketing at 10x Genomics to evaluate commercial adoption patterns across single-cell and spatial platforms. I analyzed customer-segment behavior, product-line performance, and usage trends using internal datasets, survey inputs, and market signals. The work involved identifying drivers of purchasing decisions, quantifying adoption barriers across academic, translational, and biopharma segments, and synthesizing insights to inform product positioning and roadmap decisions. This project strengthened my ability to translate technical platform capabilities into actionable commercial strategy and helped guide go-to-market thinking within the rapidly evolving single-cell and spatial genomics space.

Course Assistant, Financial Accounting for Managers & Entrepreneurs
I supported instruction in the principles and applications of financial and cost accounting for managerial decision-making. The course covers the preparation and interpretation of financial statements, the design of accounting systems, and the use of accounting information to evaluate operations and guide strategic choices. I held student support hours, assisted with grading and explanation of problem sets, and helped clarify concepts related to revenue recognition, cost behavior, budgeting, and performance analysis. This role deepened my own command of accounting fundamentals while contributing to students’ ability to apply them in entrepreneurial and managerial contexts.
