Welcome
Who’s Benjamin? Whose Benjamin? Hoo’s Benjamin?
The Boring Version
I’m Benjamin Zaidel— founder and CEO of Benjamin Beers. My academic journey started with an undergraduate degree in Bioengineering at Stanford University. Now, as a second-year masters student in Management Science & Engineering on the Financial Analytics track, I’m exploring the dynamic intersections of technology, data, and decision-making to drive impactful solutions in complex financial landscapes.

The Slightly Less Boring Version
Beyond the classroom, I’m someone who thrives on variety and finding joy in the unexpected. Whether it’s volunteering at a local temple to help prepare for vibrant Tet celebrations or running through the streets of San Francisco dressed as a cow for Bay to Breakers (yes, that happened), I believe in making memories that stick.
I’ve also been known to get strangely excited about a perfectly crafted Excel formula or a well-placed semicolon in a line of code. My plant-based cooking experiments don’t always go as planned, but they’re a testament to my curiosity and love for creative problem-solving (in or out of the kitchen).
When I’m not working, I’m often dreaming up my next adventure. My most recent journey took me across Europe and Thailand, where I soaked in history, culture, and even got the chance to live in a monastery. It’s these kinds of experiences—big and small—that shape the way I see the world and inspire the work I do.
